It is one of the most sought after investments in Silicon Valley, however, the firm remains uninterested in extra funding believing that a bigger team will not help their goal of improving their product. CEO Ivan Zhao said: “It’s more about helping us focus on product and less on meetings.”

Notion appears to want to remain small-scale in order to focus on product improvement without the risk of diseconomies of scale and loss of control from unnecessary growth in size.
